Listings

Drag and drop photos into your listings

Drag photos from your computer straight into the listing editor, or pick several at once. Previews appear immediately, before the upload finishes.

You can also generate AI alt text for one photo at a time from the photo dialog, instead of the whole listing.

Improvements

  • When an optimization ends below 100, Alura explains what is holding the score back.
  • Keep my description, add an intro: AI adds an opening to your description and leaves the rest as you wrote it. Your own description instructions are followed too.
  • AI writes in the language you choose, not the shop's Etsy default.
  • Non-English listings can use tags up to 30 characters, as Etsy allows.
  • Refresh listing pulls the latest version from Etsy and shows when it last synced.
  • If a publish fails, the message names the field Etsy rejected.

Research

Saved research gets an overview

Saved now opens on an Overview. It counts your saved keywords, products and shops and shows your folders and lists in one tree. Click a list to see only what is in it.

Saves are shared with your workspace. Turn on the Saved by column under Display to see who saved each item.

Research improvements

  • Keyword Score is now calculated ahead of time, so you can sort and filter by it in Explore. Score tiers were recalibrated, so many keywords show lower scores than before.
  • Copy all tags from any product's side panel or Content tab.
  • Bulk Search results stay in place when you refresh the page.
  • Where data is missing, research tables show a dash instead of a misleading zero.

Follow-ups, Messages

Follow-ups: see the conversation before you send

Sending a follow-up now opens a larger window with the full conversation with that buyer and the order details beside it. You see what has already been said before you add to it.

When an order matches one of your sending rules, Alura skips it and moves to the next one, with a note you can open to send it anyway. After a follow-up is sent, the conversation closes itself in Customer Messages, and a reply from the buyer opens it again.

If sending through the extension fails, Send manually copies the message and opens the order on Etsy for you.

  • Close conversation after sending, on by default
  • The trigger, like Order shipped, shows in the window header

New · Etsy Ads

Etsy Ads, rebuilt with live data and an optimizer

Etsy Ads is rebuilt. It reads your ad data live from Etsy through the Alura Chrome extension, so the numbers match what Etsy shows. Overview shows spend, revenue, ROAS and profit for the whole shop, and for each listing and keyword.

Optimize lets you change many ads at once. Set rules, like pausing ads or lowering click cost where a listing does not pay for itself, preview every change before it runs, and look back at past runs in the run history.

Insights works out the ROAS you need to break even after Etsy's fees, using your own margin, and shows which listings earn their ad spend and which do not. Find it under Marketing, then Etsy Ads.

Analytics

Import costs from a spreadsheet

You can now import costs in bulk. Download the Excel or CSV template, fill it in, and upload it. Alura checks every row first and tells you exactly which rows need fixing before anything is saved.

The Profit Calculator also has Etsy's August 2026 fees and exchange rates, so the profit it shows matches what Etsy charges today. Find Import costs on the Costs page under Analytics.
