Yes. Type a word a buyer might use and Alura shows an estimate of how much it's searched for on Etsy, how many listings compete for it and whether interest is rising. Its Score rates the keyword from Avoid to Excellent and says what to do with it. AI Keyword Suggestions can also pick keywords for one of your listings, and you add the ones you like to its tags.

Where does the search volume come from?

Etsy doesn't publish how often a phrase is searched, so Search Volume is Alura's estimate. It's modelled from the monthly views of up to 5,000 Etsy listings that match the keyword over the last 24 months, and shown as the average of the last 12 months, rounded to the nearest 50. Treat it as a way to compare keywords, not an exact count.

How is competition measured?

Competition is the number of active Etsy listings for the search, the count Etsy itself returns. Alura grades it from very low (under 5,000 listings) to very high (500,000 or more).

How many keywords can I look up?

Free includes 5 keyword searches a day. Basic 50 a day, Growth 500 a day, Professional unlimited. Opening the same keyword again within 12 hours counts once. Bulk Search checks up to 100 keywords and counts as one bulk search: Free 1 a day, Basic 5 a day, Growth 25 a day, Professional unlimited.

Do I need the Chrome extension?

Only for Search Rankings, which reads live Etsy search results to find where your listings rank. Search, Bulk Search, AI Keyword Suggestions, saved lists and Tag Manager all work in the web app.

Which languages can I search in?

English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese and Russian. The search language changes the keyword results. Search volume isn't split by country.

Open any keyword to see whether it's worth using, what you'd be up against and how to get it into your listing.

Score rates a keyword from Avoid to Excellent and tells you what to do with it.

The Competition tab shows the average price, reviews and age of the listings you'd compete with.

Switch on Valid Etsy tag and Similar Keywords hides anything longer than Etsy's 20-character tag limit.

Pick a listing in Tag Manager, add keywords as you research and publish its tags to Etsy.
