Alura stats on Etsy search results

Search on Etsy and each result now shows Alura's numbers right on the card: monthly sales, monthly revenue, views, favorites, listing age, reviews and listing score. Pick which numbers you see, their order, and whether cards show a compact, peek or full view.

A filter bar above the results lets you narrow to bestsellers, popular items or Etsy's Picks, sort the page, hide ads and see a summary of the page.

Right-click any listing to analyze it, save it to a list, open it in Alura, find similar listings or analyze the shop. Update the Alura Chrome extension to get it.

Settings

  • Choose whether reports open in a side panel or a dialog.
  • Pick a light or dark theme, and short or exact numbers.

Fit whole photo for Pinterest pins

Pinterest favors tall 2:3 pins, but most product photos are square or landscape. Until now you had two choices: crop the photo to 2:3 and lose part of it, or keep the original shape and give up the pin format.

The new Fit whole photo layout keeps both. Your whole photo sits centered in a 2:3 pin over a softly blurred copy of itself, so nothing gets cut off.

You can pick it anywhere you choose a layout: automation settings, Create pins, bulk edit, the pin editor and CSV import.

Improvements

  • Product Research, Shop Research, Keyword Research and a shop's Listings tab can now show 25, 50, 100 or 250 rows per page. Find it under Display.
  • Select all picks every row on the page, so larger pages mean larger exports.

A/B Tests, Listings

Views and conversion rate in A/B tests

A/B tests used to judge each variant by sales alone. For shops with few orders, that meant waiting a long time for a clear answer.

The Results tab now shows views and conversion rate for each variant, plus a views lift card next to your other results. Views lift compares views per tracked hour, so variants that ran for different lengths of time are compared fairly.

Views and conversion rate are also included in the CSV and PDF exports.

A/B tests

  • Turn on Track views when you create a test. Variants then switch once a day, which keeps the view counts clean.
  • Photo tests use the photo you upload, and the original version keeps your real listing photo.

Listing editor

  • After you publish, a Next listing button takes you straight to the next listing. The up and down arrows are back in the listing header too.
  • Remove all clears every tag in one click, with Undo if you change your mind.
  • Low-resolution photos now show a red marker in the photo grid, with the size they are and the size they need.
  • A new listing you were working on is kept if you leave the page, and you can restore it when you return.
  • The Stats tab's All time view shows the listing's whole sales history.

Pinterest

Keep listings out of your Pinterest automations

Not every listing belongs on Pinterest. Your automation settings now have an Exclusions section with three options: leave out whole shop sections, pick specific listings, or add keywords. A keyword excludes any listing that has it in the title, tags or description.

You can also change the image of a pin that is already in your Queue. Open the pin, click Change image, and pick another photo from the listing.

Improvements

  • Exclude shop sections from automations
  • Exclude specific listings
  • Exclude listings by keyword in the title, tags or description
  • Change image on a queued pin (shipped Sep 1)

Analytics

Top products and top customers on Overview

Analytics Overview now shows two new cards below your metrics. Top products lists your best-selling listings by units sold. Top customers lists the buyers who spent the most. Both follow the date range and shops you have selected.

Click View all to open the full Products or Customers list inside Overview, with the same period still applied. Open any listing or customer from there without losing your place.
