Etsy listings can now have 2 videos, up from 1

Every seller can add a second video to a listing; Etsy announced it in its June 2026 Newly Crafted roundup, published June 29, 2026, without a launch date.

Etsy listings can now carry 2 videos, up from 1. Etsy's Help article on listing videos says: "You can add up to 2 videos per listing." In October 2025 the same page said: "You can only add one video per listing."

Etsy announced the change in the June 2026 section of Newly Crafted, its roundup of seller updates: "You can now add a second video to your listings on your desktop or mobile browser." Etsy posted that edition on June 29, 2026. It gave no exact launch date.

Who it affects

Every seller. Etsy's video article lists no category or listing-type exceptions. The photo limit doesn't change: Etsy's listing guide says you can add "up to 20 photos and 2 videos" to each listing.

The rules for each video

Per Etsy's video article:

  • Maximum file size 100 MB.
  • Accepted formats: MP4, MOV, FLV, AAC, AVI, 3GP and MPEG.
  • Minimum resolution 500px. Etsy calls 1080px or more ideal.
  • Aspect ratio 2:1 or 1:2.
  • No sound. Videos "will not contain any audio once uploaded".

Length is less clear. The video article says a video "may be 3-15 seconds long". Etsy's listing guide says videos "that are 5-15 seconds in length". A video of 5 to 15 seconds meets both.

What it means

Etsy says listing videos give shoppers "a better idea of your products, and can also help improve how your listings appear in Etsy search." In Newly Crafted, Etsy suggests using the second video to "showcase details, demonstrate how an item is used, or share how it's made."

What to do

To add a second video on Etsy.com, go to Shop Manager, select Listings, open the listing, then go to Photo and video and upload. The Help article also gives steps for the Etsy Seller app: under Photo and video, select the plus sign, or select View all, then Add a video.

If you plan to record new videos, keep them between 5 and 15 seconds so they meet both of Etsy's stated ranges.

What we don't know yet

Etsy hasn't said on what day the second video slot went live, and its two Help articles still disagree on the minimum length. The video article doesn't say where a second video appears among your listing photos. Newly Crafted names only desktop and mobile browsers for the second video, while the video article also gives Etsy Seller app steps.
