How MorgentauSilber puts its Etsy listings on Pinterest, word for word

MorgentauSilber
MorgentauSilber has sold handmade rings, wedding bands and pendants in recycled silver and gold on Etsy since 2018, with more than 600 sales and a 4.96 rating. Kathrin uses Alura's Smart Pins to keep the catalog on Pinterest in the same German text as her listings, and reworks her titles in Alura's listing editor.
Jewelry that looks like it came from the forest floor
Kathrin makes jewelry that keeps the marks of the hand. Rings carry the texture of tree bark or of stones smoothed by a stream. Some surfaces are made with the flame itself, a technique called reticulation that leaves the silver with a matte, wild texture that comes out a little different every time. The twig ring starts in sand: it's cast in solid sterling silver using the traditional Delft sand casting method.
Everything is made to order at the workbench, from recycled precious metals and natural materials. Customers can ask for their own version, rough like bark or soft like a river stone, narrow or bold, with the stones they want. The catalog runs from slim hammered stacking rings to gold wedding sets with tourmaline or a small diamond. The shop has been on Etsy since 2018, with more than 600 sales and a 4.96 rating from over 250 reviews.
Pinterest takes time a workbench doesn't give back
Wedding bands, engagement rings and stacking rings are the kind of pieces people save to Pinterest boards while they plan. A pin made by hand takes the same steps every time: choose a photo, crop it to Pinterest's tall format, write a title and a description, pick a board. Multiply that by a catalog of rings, chains and earrings, each made to order, and it competes directly with time at the bench.
The listings themselves also have a particular voice. They're written in German and read closer to a short poem than a spec sheet. One wedding set opens with "Die Textur der Unendlichkeit" (the texture of infinity), then "Zwei Kreise. Ein gemeinsamer Rhythmus." (Two circles. One shared rhythm.) Generic pin copy would lose that.
“My descriptions are part of the piece. If a pin shows my ring to a stranger, I want it to sound like my shop, not like an ad.”
Pins built from the listing text as written
Kathrin connected her Pinterest account to Alura and turned on two automations. Smart Pins fills a queue with pins made from her active Etsy listings, planned about ten days ahead. Listings are ranked mostly by how many views they get on Etsy, and a photo pinned in the past week isn't reused, so the queue keeps rotating through the catalog. Pin New Listings picks up pieces that went live in the past day, so new work gets into the queue on its own.
For pin text, Alura offers two options: copy written for Pinterest by AI, or the listing's own Etsy text as written. For Smart Pins, Kathrin chose the Etsy text. A pin for her gold wedding rings with a small diamond carries the listing title word for word and opens with the same lines as the listing, in German. Photos are cropped to Pinterest's tall format.
Her boards have plain German names: Eheringe (wedding rings), Handgefertigte Ringe (handmade rings), Halskette mit Edelstein (gemstone necklace), Handgefertigte Verlobungsringe (handmade engagement rings) and Schmuck herstellen (making jewelry), plus an English board for stacking rings. Anything in the queue can be edited, reordered or deleted before it posts. Otherwise it goes out on the schedule she set.
Shorter titles that name the metal and the piece
Titles get different treatment. Kathrin rewrites them herself in Alura's listing editor and publishes the change to Etsy when she's happy with it. The older titles strung several phrases together. The new ones are shorter: the metal and the piece up front, then one or two details.
The gold wedding set now names all three golds it can be made in, 333, 585 and 750, right after the words "Gold Eheringe". The small organic hoops now lead with "Silber Ohrstecker" (silver stud earrings) instead of a run of phrases separated by dashes. Several stacking rings also gained Christmas gift tags, such as "geschenk weihnachten frau" (Christmas gift for her).

“A title has to say what it is first. Silver earrings, gold wedding rings. The poetry can go in the description, where people actually read.”
The catalog now reaches Pinterest the way she wrote it
The shop's Pinterest boards now fill with pins of hammered stacking rings, gemstone pendants and gold wedding sets. The Smart Pins carry each listing's own German title and opening lines. Kathrin doesn't write separate pin copy, and the shop's voice doesn't change between Etsy and Pinterest. Each pin links back to its listing, so a ring saved to someone's wedding board leads to the piece itself and its made-to-order options.
On Etsy, the reworked titles put the piece and the metal first and still keep her vocabulary: organic form, hammered texture, recycled metal. The descriptions underneath still carry the bark, the stream pebbles and the forest edge.
Advice for other sellers: one backdrop, one voice
Look at the shop and you'll see it: nearly every piece is photographed on the same grey stone, in the same soft light, shot close enough that the texture of the metal is the first thing you see. Thin silver bands, gold wedding sets and gemstone pendants all look like they belong to one workshop, on Etsy and on a Pinterest board alike. In a feed full of other people's photos, that consistency is what makes a pin recognizable.
“Pick one backdrop and stay with it. When every ring sits on the same stone, people recognize your work before they read your name.”
