How elisecellucci retitled its fall designs by what's in the picture

elisecellucci
Since 2012, elisecellucci has made more than 570 sales of design files and printables on Etsy, from sublimation PNGs to Cricut cut files. Its titles opened with each design's slogan, so Elise used Alura's listing optimizer to rewrite a batch of fall listings around what each picture actually shows.
Art files for people who make things
elisecellucci sells artwork for people who make things. Most of the catalog is transparent 300 DPI PNGs for shirts, mugs and sublimation tumblers, alongside SVG cut files for Cricut, printable party games, Canva invitation templates and Google Sheets trackers. A hardcover tea tasting journal, a first birthday smash cake plate with the baby's name on it and a few candles make up the physical side.
The designs are cozy and a little silly: a goose collapsed on a yoga mat, a black cat lounging on a stack of books, two teacups that say "you'll always be my best tea." Many files can go on physical products a buyer sells, under the shop's license, and Elise will print a design on a shirt, mug or bag for anyone who asks.
Every design was named after its slogan
A design in this shop usually starts with a line of text. Currently Booked. Cozy Era Activated. Short Legs, Long Autumn Walks. The phrase is what makes the design fun, so it is also what the listing title opened with.
That works once a shopper has seen the art. Before that, the shopper is typing the subject: a dachshund PNG, matcha clipart, a fall book design for a reading nook sign. In a title that leads with the slogan, the subject turns up halfway along the line. The descriptions were written in the same spirit, opening with the mood of the season and a warm welcome, which reads well to someone who has already clicked.
With more than 150 listings live, many of them named this way, that adds up. And fixing one listing properly means more than a title: it means thirteen tags, a description that says what the file contains, and alt text for every photo.
“The slogan is the fun part, so that's what I named each design after. Someone looking for a dachshund design starts with the word dachshund, though.”
The whole listing goes through the optimizer, one design at a time
Elise works in Alura's listing optimizer, one listing at a time. She opens a design in the editor, ticks title, description, tags and alt text under Optimization settings, and clicks Start optimization. The AI writes a new version of each part she ticked, and she can read them all before anything changes on Etsy.
Nothing reaches her shop until she clicks Publish changes. If a new version doesn't sit right, Revert all puts the listing back, and older versions stay in Listing history.
The titles that came back follow one pattern. They open with the subject and the file type, like Dachshund PNG or Matcha Latte PNG, then add the season and what the file is for. The slogan moves out of the title and into the description, which now starts by naming what is in the picture. The reading season design opens with an open book, a pumpkin mug, autumn leaves, glasses and acorns, and only then the phrase "Autumn Is My Reading Season."
The tags got the same treatment, with phrases like "bookish fall decor," "pumpkin book art" and "cozy reading decor" that describe the art in a crafter's words. Each photo also got alt text, the short description screen readers read aloud.
Her own writing stays. In most of these listings, the description she wrote is still there below the new opening. The cat listing keeps her offer to print the design for a buyer who wants a finished shirt or mug instead of a file.
“I let the AI write the first pass on the whole listing, title, tags, description and alt text. I keep my own description underneath, because that part sounds like me.”
Fall designs that say what they are
The clearest change is in her fall batch: the dachshund, the matcha latte, the cat on the books, the pumpkin mug. Each title now starts with the thing a shopper would picture, and the line that makes people smile is still printed on the art.
The descriptions moved the same way. The cat listing now begins with a black cat lounging on a book stack with coffee and "Currently Booked" lettering, surrounded by stars, plants, glasses and a candle. A crafter deciding whether the file suits a mug or a tote bag can tell from the first two lines.
None of the designs changed. Only the words around them did.

Name the file, then let the joke do the selling
Elise's advice for other digital sellers is about naming. Write the title for someone who hasn't seen the design yet, and describe what is in the picture as plainly as you would to a friend on the phone. The clever line is still the reason people buy, so keep it front and center on the art and in your mockups, where shoppers see it the moment they click.
“Name the file for what's in it and save the clever line for the design. The joke sells it once someone finds it.”
