BerrybeeArtStudio's gifts now pin themselves, one board per occasion

BerrybeeArtStudio
BerrybeeArtStudio is a small, family-run Etsy shop with more than 600 listings of gifts for weddings, baptisms, holidays and new homes, most of them personalized. To keep that catalog on Pinterest, the shop uses Alura's Smart Pins and lets its own Etsy sections decide which board each pin lands on.
Personal gifts for the moments people remember
BerrybeeArtStudio is a small, family-run gift shop in the United States. It makes personalized gifts and home pieces: woven toile blankets carrying a couple's names and their anniversary, ceramic ornaments for a godchild's baptism, Santa ring dishes, tumblers, wrapping paper, and canvas tote bags that come with a matching makeup bag and a teacher's or school counselor's name on the front.
Personalization runs through most of the catalog. A piece usually carries a name, a date or a milestone, and most are made for one particular moment: a wedding, a new house, a retirement, a first Christmas. The shop opened on Etsy in 2025 and has passed 1,100 sales, with a 4.91 star rating from 349 reviews.
Every occasion has its own shoppers
A catalog built around moments has a lot of separate audiences. The person looking for a goddaughter's baptism ornament is not the one hunting for a gothic rose blanket for a reading corner, and neither of them is shopping for a teacher. BerrybeeArtStudio has more than 600 active listings across those occasions, and new designs go up with every season, from shamrock throws to ghost totes.
A lot of gift planning happens on Pinterest, where people save ideas and come back to them weeks later. But a pin only helps on the right board, in front of the right person. Making pins by hand for hundreds of personalized products, one occasion at a time, is a job that never really ends.
“Most of what we sell is for a specific day, like an anniversary or a baptism. People plan those days on Pinterest, so that's where our gifts need to be.”
The shop's sections became its Pinterest boards
BerrybeeArtStudio started out making pins one at a time in Alura, then handed the routine to Smart Pins. Once a day it fills the queue with pins made from the shop's active listings, choosing them mostly by how many Etsy views each listing gets, so new designs join the rotation once shoppers start finding them. The pin title and description are written by AI, starting from the listing itself.
Where the pins land comes from the shop's own organizing. Its Etsy sections are already sorted mostly by occasion and recipient, so the shop uses Smart Board, which maps each Etsy section to a Pinterest board. Godchild ornaments go to Baptism Gifts. Totes and tumblers for nurses, teachers and counselors go to Gifts for Teachers and Nurses. The toile, owl and shamrock blankets go to Vintage Decor, and anything without a match goes to a fallback board.
“We already sort the shop by occasion. If Pinterest follows the same sections, a baptism ornament ends up on a board people planning a baptism actually look at.”
A queue that refills itself and stays editable
Smart Pins keeps the queue filled about ten days ahead. The shop chose how many pins go out each day, on which days and in which time slots, and the queue posts on that schedule. A photo pinned in the last week is never reused, and when a listing comes round again the AI writes the pin fresh. The anniversary blanket has gone out under more than one title.
None of it is locked. Any pin in the queue can be edited, reordered, given priority or published straight away, and Smart Pins can skip whole sections, single listings or keywords. Pins left alone post on schedule, so the boards keep filling on days when nobody at the shop opens Pinterest.
Etsy titles turned into pin captions
The shop's Etsy titles are written for Etsy search, so they carry several ways of saying what the gift is and who it's for. On Pinterest the AI turns each one into a short caption that names the product and the moment, with a two-sentence description that ends by pointing back to Etsy. A few of the pins now running:
The descriptions keep the useful details. The rose blanket's pin mentions that it's 100% cotton and reversible, and the goddaughter ornament's pin says it can carry her name, the godparents' names and the date. Across the boards it reads like a gift guide: Christmas Gifts fills with first Christmas ornaments for babies, newlyweds and new homes, Halloween Gifts holds ghost blankets and Halloween totes, and Sports & Hobbies has the soccer, dance and baseball mom tumblers.

Sort your shop the way people shop for gifts
If you sell gifts, build most of your Etsy sections around the occasion and the person, not the product type. A shopper buying for a baptism wants every baptism gift in one place, whether it's an ornament, a picture board or a blanket. Once the shop is organized that way, everything else you do, from Pinterest boards to a holiday sale, can follow the same map. Keep the section names plain, too, the way a shopper would say them out loud.
“Most people don't know yet what they want to buy. They know who it's for and what day it is, so that's how we sort the shop.”
