How VibyItalia got started

Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?

So I decided to start an Etsy shop to share my art. I stumbled upon some videos on Etsy and decided to try it. All my products are created by me; I just design them and post them without looking at the market trend.

Favorite items

What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?

In general, I love motivational posters; they can bring positivity to the environment that you live in every day. This right here is my favorite. It still has no sales, but I don’t mind; I just love the design.

Getting sales on Etsy

How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?

My first sale came after 1 month of opening the shop. Right now, I attract customers using SEO (optimizing titles, descriptions, and tags) and using Etsy Ads. I’ve also tried social media ads but with no results.

Managing VibyItalia

How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?

I am the only one who manages the shop. I use tools like Alura and Canva. Alura helps me to optimize my listings, and I use Canva to make the PDF file that the customer receives to print the wall art.

The future of VibyItalia

What goals do you have for your shop in the future?
For the future, I want to grow my store so that more people can easily decorate their houses for a cheap price. I don’t have a specific number in mind, but just having a sale every day would be great. 

Advice for new sellers

What’s your advice for a new seller starting an Etsy shop?

If you are new, try to pick a niche that you love, bring real value to the customer that buys from you, and learn as much as possible. There are some great tools out there that can make your life easier, like Alura.
