I’m Silvia, owner, and founder of Silviadigitalart on Etsy. I design and sell high-quality digital cliparts and backgrounds, specializing in elegant and delicate designs inspired by Disney characters. My cliparts are perfect for DIY enthusiasts who want to create custom scrapbooks, personalized invitations, and other creative projects.

I started Silviadigitalart as a way to combine my passion for design with the joy of helping others bring their creative visions to life. I’ve always loved working with visual arts and handmade crafts and opening my Etsy shop allowed me to share that love with a wider audience.

The inspiration for my most popular products comes from a desire to offer something unique and versatile. Disney characters have a timeless charm that appeals to both children and adults, but I wanted to present them in a more elegant and sophisticated style. I realized there was a gap in the market for designs that combine the magic of Disney with a refined aesthetic suitable for a wide range of creative projects.

What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?

Without a doubt, my favorite item in my shop is the Rapunzel clipart. It holds a special place in my heart because it was one of the first designs that brought me my initial extra income. Seeing how much people loved it was not only rewarding but also a turning point that motivated me to keep creating. Its dreamy and delicate style resonates with fans who want to bring a touch of magic to their DIY projects.

Another section I’m incredibly proud of is the entire Wicked movie-inspired collection—which has become a total hit! Both the clipart and the digital papers have been flying off the virtual shelves. I believe their success comes from the growing excitement around the film, combined with the fact that these designs are elegant yet playful, making them perfect for unique crafts and custom projects.

How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?

I started my Etsy journey in September 2022, but it wasn’t until January 2023 that I made my first sale. In the beginning, it was challenging—honestly, the Etsy fees and ads were costing me more than I was earning. My only strategy to attract customers back then was through Etsy Ads, which was a slow and costly process.

Everything changed when I started using Alura. It gave me the tools and insights to optimize my listings, improve my SEO, and better understand what my audience was looking for. Since then, I’ve seen significant growth—not just in sales, but also in how I connect with customers who genuinely love my designs.

I manage the entire shop on my own—from the creative process to marketing and customer service. Every design in my store is hand-drawn using Procreate, which allows me to bring my ideas to life with precision and creativity.

To promote my products and connect with my audience, I use TikTok, Pinterest, and Instagram, where I share behind-the-scenes glimpses, tutorials, and new releases. When it comes to tracking customers, improving SEO, and optimizing my listings, Alura is my go-to tool—it’s been a game-changer for growing my shop and boosting visibility.

Since all my products are digital, there’s no need to worry about shipping and fulfillment. Customers can instantly download their purchases, making it quick and convenient for them to start creating right away!

What goals do you have for your shop in the future?

I’m always looking for new ways to expand my collections and provide more value to my customers. I’m currently exploring more exclusive bundles, themed packs, and possibly collaborations with other creators.

My goal is to continue offering high-quality digital resources that empower crafters, designers, and small business owners to create something truly special.

What’s your advice for a new seller starting an Etsy shop?

My biggest advice is to stay persistent and consistent. Success doesn’t happen overnight, but if you keep creating and improving, the results will follow.
