How RealCoolStickers got started
Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?
RealCoolStickers and Stuff is the name of my shop. I don’t sell products; I sell a way for people to share their passions with the world; it just happens to be on a shirt, sticker, mug, or sign. The funny thing is that these are all categories that people say to stay away from because they are too competitive. That’s both true and false. Here is why these categories are only competitive if you make the same stuff as everyone else: I see a lot of Etsy sellers do that. My success is in my design skills. My background is graphic design, so everything I create is done in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. I can go into detail on sourcing and other stuff when we speak.
Favorite items
What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?
Signs are my favorite thing to sell. But stickers are my big seller.

Getting sales on Etsy
How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?
My first sale came in a month, but consistent sales came in the third month.
Managing RealCoolStickers
How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?
I run it myself. I use Alura for everything and can go into more detail when we chat about how I use it. I ship and fulfill myself, and I take this very seriously.
The future of RealCoolStickers
What goals do you have for your shop in the future?
In year two, I doubled my sales, and my goal for this year is to make $5,000 or more per month.
