Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?
My shop is Lisa's Fragrance & Such. I started making natural products in 2014, when my granddaughter was born. Originally, my shop was a fragrance-only concept. But when I started making natural lotions, bath washes, and soaps for my granddaughter, the N Such manifested. I heard of Etsy and signed up in 2016. I also had another website, so I was really focused on that aspect with marketing, etc. I remembered that I was on Etsy a couple years later. I came back to Etsy and realized that I made more sales on Etsy, so I closed my other website and am now 100% on Etsy since 2019. I focus on sourcing raw materials from natural, more ethical companies because of the not-so-good ingredients in some other products that I've used in the past.

What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?
Oh my, I have so many favorites, but let me tell you about our expeditious hair growth elixir. It is made with all natural oils and herbs that help your hair grow healthier, stronger, and longer. Our clients give us rave reviews based on their experiences with this product.
Getting sales on Etsy
How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?
It didn't take long at all to get my first sale on Etsy. I attract clients with both social media marketing and Etsy ads that you can turn on and off whenever you want.
Managing LisasFragranceNSuch
How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?
I am the only one who runs my shop. Currently, I fulfill shipping and handling outside of Etsy and make sure my clients' products are shipped as quickly as possible. Esty provides apps to assist you with shipping, but because I was already comfortable with the service I'm currently using, I stayed with it.

What goals do you have for your shop in the future?
My goal is to use all the apps that Etsy provides to expand.

What’s your advice for a new seller starting an Etsy shop?
My advice to new sellers starting on Etsy is to go for it. Remove all those who have doubts about your ability to create and share your products with the rest of the world.
