Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?

Our Etsy shop is dedicated to offering high-quality materials and supplies for resin arts and crafts. We specialize in epoxy resin and UV resin, which are both versatile and durable materials that can be used to create stunning resin projects. We first discovered resin art when we were looking for new and creative ways to express ourselves and our love for nature. As we started experimenting with resin, we quickly realized that it was a fun and rewarding hobby that allowed us to create beautiful and unique pieces.

As we gained more experience with resin, we decided to share our passion with others by opening an Etsy shop. We started by offering a small selection of resin supplies and dried flowers, which are key materials for resin art. We carefully sourced our products from trusted suppliers and tested them to ensure that they met our high standards. Since then, our shop has grown and evolved as we've added new products and expanded our range of dried flowers. We now offer a wide variety of dried flowers in different colors, shapes, and sizes, as well as other materials and tools that can be used with resin.

What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?

One of my favorite items in our Etsy shop is definitely our UV resin starter set. It's a great value and the perfect gift for anyone who loves crafting. Another product that I really love and that's been very popular in our shop is our dried flowers in nice boxes. We offer them in different color-sorted boxes, including pink, yellow, natural colors, purple, blue, and a fun mix. These dried flowers are perfect for resin art, as they add a touch of nature and color to your projects. They're also great for other crafts and home decor projects.

In addition to these products, we also offer a high-quality volume epoxy resin made in Germany that's perfect for bigger projects, such as lamps. This resin is known for its excellent clarity, durability, and ease of use, making it a popular choice for resin artists and crafters. Getting sales on Etsy

How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?

It didn't take very long for us to earn our first sale on Etsy. If I remember correctly, it only took a couple of days after we opened our shop. We were really excited and grateful for the support and encouragement from our first customer. Since then, we've continued to grow and attract new customers to our Etsy shop through various channels. One of the main tools we use is the Etsy Ads feature, which allows us to target our ads at specific audiences and get more visibility for our products. We've found this to be a helpful and effective way to reach potential customers and showcase our products.

In addition to Etsy ads, we also use social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram to share updates, promotions, and behind-the-scenes content about our shop and products. We find that these platforms are great for engaging with our customers and building a community of resin enthusiasts and crafters. Overall, we believe that offering high-quality products, providing excellent customer service, and staying active on social media are key factors in attracting and retaining customers on Etsy. We're always looking for new ways to improve and grow our business, and we appreciate the support and feedback from our customers.

How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?

When I first started my Etsy shop, it was just me working out of a small extra room in my apartment. However, as the shop has grown and gained more popularity over the past two years, I've had to expand and adapt to meet the demand. Now, I rent a warehouse and have two female employees who help me manage the shop. It's been so much more fun to have a team and make decisions together, and I'm grateful for their support and contributions. In terms of tools and apps, we use a variety of resources to run our store efficiently and effectively. Photoshop is a key tool for editing and enhancing our product photos, and we use G Suite by Google for email, calendar, hangouts, and file management. We store and manage our invoices using Billbee, which is an affordable system for small businesses like ours that works really well. We also use Freepik for design elements and resources, which offers a wide range of vector and PSD files that we can use to create marketing materials and other assets.

As for shipping and fulfillment, we handle everything in-house. We pack and ship orders as soon as possible after they are placed, and we work closely with our carriers to ensure that orders are delivered on time and in good condition. We also offer a range of shipping options to meet the needs of our customers, including standard, expedited, and international shipping. Overall, managing our Etsy shop takes a lot of hard work and dedication, but it's a labor of love that we enjoy. We're constantly learning and improving, and we're grateful to our customers for their support and feedback.

What goals do you have for your shop in the future?

One of my main goals is to continue to grow and expand our shop, offering more and more products that are relevant and useful to our customers. In particular, I'm interested in creating resin sets with detailed instructions that can help beginners and experienced resin artists alike achieve success with their projects. Another goal that's important to me is to become even more sustainable as a company. We're always looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact and make our business more eco-friendly. For example, we're working on changing our packaging to use less material and be more environmentally friendly. We're also exploring the possibility of offering resin made from recycled materials in the future, which would be a great way to reduce waste and support sustainability. Overall, my vision for the future of our Etsy shop is to continue to be a trusted source of high-quality materials and inspiration for resin artists and crafters.

What’s your advice for a new seller starting an Etsy shop?

Answer: Our Etsy shop has been growing steadily over the past few years, and we're happy to report that our monthly revenue has been consistently in the range of $2,000 to $5,000. This fluctuation is due in part to the seasonal nature of our products, as crafting supplies tend to be more popular at certain times of the year. However, we've also seen a steady increase in demand for our products over time, which has contributed to our overall growth.
