How JUBLZ got started

Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?

My store sells digital products. These are prints for various products such as t-shirts, cups, water glasses, postcards, and many other items. Once upon a time, I worked as a designer of outdoor signs, and when I saw the shops of other sellers on Etsy, I started selling my goods. I started out with files to cut using Cricut plotters and others. But later I switched to print designs. They have more room for creativity. Also, having analyzed that there is a certain fashion for the grunge effect and retro style in designs, I also corrected my drawing style in this direction. This is how the store was born, and this is the style of drawing designs that I adhere to. I get a lot of positive feedback, which tells me that I have chosen the right path. I also consider it a big plus that I sell digital downloads. I am relieved of the routine associated with delivery and timing. Now, selling my designs is my main job.

What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?

Among the products that I definitely like are those with cowboy and western designs. They work well for me, and people like them, so they sell well. I also really like outdoor sign designs. They are also popular with buyers. Perhaps this is nostalgia for the times when I worked in this field.

Getting sales on Etsy

How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?

The first sale was in the first week. I try to use all methods to attract clients. These are social networks like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and email newsletters.

Managing JUBLZ

How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?

I'm the only one running the store. But over time, I think I'll expand and attract employees. In management, I use Erank for viewing tags and Aweber for email marketing. There have been discussions about using programs to assist with social media publications. Fortunately, I have digital downloads, and the physical delivery of goods does not burden me.

The future of JUBLZ

What goals do you have for your shop in the future?

In the future, I will definitely expand the range of designs; perhaps I will open another store with a different line of designs. I also think that marketing needs to be developed. After all, creating a design is only half the battle; you still need to sell it correctly.

Advice for new sellers

What’s your advice for a new seller starting an Etsy shop?

I want to advise you to always analyze the market in order to choose the right product that is in demand. Also analyze competitors' stores to know what to do to become better than them, and use all possible means to attract buyers.

Some sellers really get inspired by hearing numbers. Feel free to share these if you like.
