How ItsGoodVibesAllDay got started
Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?
Hi, my name is Tay, and my Etsy shop is ItsGoodVibesAllDay. My shop is selling easy-to-use/print digital products, such as stickers and bookmarks. I started selling on Etsy in early November 2024. I've always been interested in exploring different side hustles, and before launching my Etsy shop, I tried some interesting side hustles, but I didn't really have the desire to keep doing them. Then an opportunity led me to Etsy, and I am invested in starting and managing an Etsy shop.
Since I’m based in Asia, I knew selling digital products could help me avoid the challenges of shipping and logistics. So I explored different types of digital products in the market and found some niches that interested me. Although right now I’m more focused on selling digital stickers, clipart, and bookmarks, I am planning to create more different items to expand my reach.
I create my products using Canva, Kittl, and Photoshop, with some focus on positivity and uplifting themes, while some are just fun and cute designs. I hope my products can brighten someone's day and add a little joy to their everyday life.
Favorite items
What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?
If I had to pick (because I love all of them!), my favorite items are the Funny Motivational Pun Sticker Pack, Kawaii Sarcastic Sticker Pack and Dog Self Affirmation PNG Sticker Pack. These are my favorites because they are really cute, fun and inspiring (or relaxing) at the same time, and any one of these stickers would go perfectly in my planner.

The Funny Motivational Pun Sticker Pack sells really well, and it is also one of my first few listings on Etsy. I think it is popular because it combines fun, puns, and motivational messages, making them appealing to adults, kids, and really anyone.

Getting sales on Etsy
How long did it take for you to earn your first sale, and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?
I got my first sale fairly early after launching my Etsy shop, but the sales pattern was inconsistent at first—I'd get a sale or two one day, then nothing for a few days.
On the marketing side, I’m currently attracting customers to my Etsy shop mainly using Etsy Ads. I’m still building my social media presence, and hopefully, one day these external platforms will help me drive traffic to my Etsy shop. On the shop product listing side, I make sure all my products are with relevant and strong keywords, tags, and titles. I also make sure to put all the high-quality photos and video so potential buyers know exactly what they will receive when they make a purchase.
Managing ItsGoodVibesAllDay
How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo, or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop, and how do you handle fulfillment?
When I first launched the shop, it was just me doing all the things, from researching for the product idea to conducting keyword research, designing the product, and creating the mockups. I enjoy doing these, but I quickly realized that it would take a lot of time to create product listings all by myself, and with the goal of pushing products consistently, I knew I had to find some help. Luckily, my brother shares a passion for this niche, so now it is the two of us working together!
We use several tools in the process of launching a product:
- Product and keyword research - Tools like Alura, Everbee, Sales Samurai
- Product design and mockup - Canva, Kittl, Photoshop
- Product documentation & filing - Google Sheets, Google Drive
Since we are currently focused on selling digital products, we don’t have to handle shipping and fulfillment. But if we decide to expand into physical products in the future, I think it would be a great idea for us to use platforms such as Printify to help manage the production and shipping.
The future of ItsGoodVibesAllDay
What goals do you have for your shop in the future?
My goal is to push more diverse products and of course, to hit higher sales and revenues. I would also love to grow my social media presence so I can promote my Etsy shop and also connect with buyers and the community.
For the long term, I hope that my Etsy shop can be a great side income source for me, and continue adding and expanding to new product niches.
Advice for new sellers
What’s your advice for a new seller starting an Etsy shop?
First, just start and learn by doing. I think as a new seller (and a beginner Etsy shop seller), we often dream of creating that “perfect listing” from the start. But in reality, it’s impossible for me because I didn’t really know anything about Etsy at the time. Even though I watched some YouTube videos and read some tutorials & guides about it, I didn’t fully understand what to do until I actually started selling. So my advice is- just start and do it. You won’t know exactly what to learn until you take that first step. That said, before you go off and start selling, you should at least do some basic homework that will guide you on completing the product listing.
Second, be consistent in creating. Personally, I think launching products consistently helps increase your Etsy shop's visibility. When Etsy drives more traffic to your shop, you will get more visits and potentially orders & sales.
Third, optimize your listings. Product research, keyword research, and product mockups are all parts of optimizing your product listing. There are plenty of useful tools out there to help with these processes; all you have to do is learn and find the one that works best for you.
