How GatsbyHaus got started

Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?

I want to very much stress that I”m still a beginner. I worked for a woman with ecommerce stores for 5 years, until 2017. In 2017, I opened my first Etsy shop selling literary tote bags I had no idea how big the reader niche would get! I sold way more than i had anticipated. I closed the store temporarily. Now I’m back with a new brand. 

Favorite items

What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?

My favorite items are JUST starting to sell. I have an obsession with Joan of Arc, and my tumbler wrap of her just sold for the first time!

How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?

It's only me. I certainly use Alura to help me find key words and phrases and the Listing Optimization feature is the first r st thing I look at after I publish, because it helps me see thr seo opportunities I missed.

Advice for new sellers

What’s your advice for a new seller starting an Etsy shop?

I would tell them to believe in their shop's success & expect themselvescto succeed.  Thats the attitude that helos me make sales. how ive begin making salesit to take a month or so to make their first sale, and to know that this is normal.

Question: How much is your monthly revenue?
Answer: Not enough to reflect the success I've achieved in other ways (learning how to run a business, etc.)
