How FramedByGraceCo got started
Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?
Framed by Grace is a modern Christian wall art brand that blends scripture with minimalist, faith-inspired design. I started the shop because I wanted to fill my own home with reminders of God’s love and truth, but I couldn’t find anything that matched my aesthetic. I began designing pieces that felt both spiritually meaningful and visually calming, and soon realized there were others looking for the same thing. I sell made-to-order prints and canvases through Printify, which allows me to focus on design and connection while ensuring quality fulfillment.
Favorite items
What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?
My favorite is the Fruit of the Spirit collection, which also happens to be my bestseller. Once I realized “fruit of the spirit” was a heavily searched verse, I created three different designs around it, each with a unique style to fit different homes. They continue to sell the most because the verse speaks to so many people. It’s one of those scriptures that’s both foundational and uplifting, and I think people love seeing it displayed as a daily reminder of how they want to live.

Getting sales on Etsy
How long did it take for you to earn your first sale, and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?
I made my first sale about two months after opening the shop. It took me a little while to understand how to build a quality Etsy listing. Things like using the right keywords, writing a clear description, and showcasing strong mockups made a big difference. Now, all of my traffic comes from organic search, which is really encouraging.
Managing FramedByGraceCo
How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo, or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop, and how do you handle fulfillment?
It’s just me running Framed by Grace right now. I honestly spend less than 5-10 hours on my shop per week. It’d probably do way better if I was more dedicated to it. For now, it’s a fun creative outlet for me as I am also a busy mom of a 2 & 3 year old.
I handle everything from design and marketing to customer service. I use Freeform, Pinterest, and Allura to plan and brainstorm. Then I use Procreate, Photoshop, ChatGPT, Midjourey, and Canva for design, Printify for fulfillment, and Etsy’s tools to manage orders. Since everything is made-to-order, Printify takes care of printing and shipping, which allows me to focus more on creating meaningful content and serving my customers.
The future of FramedByGraceCo
What goals do you have for your shop in the future?
In the short term, I want to reach 10 sales per day and eventually grow to 50/day. Long-term, my goal is to turn Framed by Grace into a household name for modern, faith-filled home decor. I’d love to expand into custom pieces and grow a community of people who value beauty, faith, and inspiration in their living spaces.
Advice for new sellers
What’s your advice for a new seller starting an Etsy shop?
Start before you feel ready. You don’t need everything to be perfect, you just need to start. Focus on making products that people are searching for or genuinely solve a need. Use tools to learn what keywords your customers are searching for, and most importantly, serve them well. Build trust, deliver value, and don’t give up when it’s slow at first—momentum builds with consistency. I’m still learning this myself. ;)
Some sellers really get inspired by hearing numbers. Feel free to share these if you like.
