How Benittamoko got started
Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?
My name is Albina, and I am a jewelry designer from Israel. I started my journey as a glass jewelry designer. Initially following a career path with fused glass jewelry, my interests drew me to study different materials such as metals, gemstones, and different techniques to broaden the creative possibilities that handmade jewelry offers. This is the point when I switched my attention from glass to metals and gemstones and started to create a new collection of minimalist jewelry with a touch of Middle Eastern colors.
Favorite items
What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?
I like simple, comfortable jewelry that is very noticeable on the ear. This is the reason why those items are my favorites:

Getting sales on Etsy
How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?
I sold my first item about a couple of months after I opened my shop. It took me time to understand what was important on the Etsy platform to promote my listings. I spend a lot of time learning digital marketing. Today I am working with a few bloggers who help me promote the shop and always tack on Etsy trends and updates to be the first to know about new directions in jewelry fashion.
Managing Benittamoko
How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?
My husband helps me manage the shop. I am responsible for all design and production aspects, and he is in charge of all administrative topics, like shipping, marketing, etc.
The future of Benittamoko
What goals do you have for your shop in the future?
My main goal is to build a stable brand on Etsy and expand the brand into other related fields, like fashion accessories. I have a lot of ideas on how to combine the colors of the Middle East with minimalist style. I think it will interest a lot of fashion lovers.
