After clicking on Marketing, you’ll be able to see Promoted Listing in the dropdown. Click on it, and you can then click on the Start Advertising button.

3. Set Your Daily Budget

It’s now time to set your daily advertising budget. Since you’re trying things out, you can start high and lower your budget over time.

4. Head over to Settings

Use the Ad Performance Section to your advantage. Click on the Manage button and then head over to the Advanced Settings section, where you’ll see multiple options available. Pay attention to the following:

  • Enable bidding options - It’s better to see what your bidding options are. Otherwise, Etsy will determine that for you.
  • Advertise new listings automatically - Make sure to turn this off, as you don’t want to advertise all your listings.

5. Turn on Etsy Promoted Listings

Head over to Promoted Listings and click on Ad Stats and Settings. You’ll see all the listings that are currently running. You can tick the ones you want to advertise and begin the whole process by clicking the Turn On button.

That’s it. The listings you’ve selected will now advertise on Etsy.

  • Bing
  • Google
  • Google Display Network
  • Facebook
  • Etsy Publishing Partner Sites

When your store is a part of the program, your listings will appear on these platforms.

Are You Eligible for Etsy Offsite Ads?

There’s one thing to keep in mind with Etsy ads. While all shops are eligible to promote via Offsite Ads, some traders will automatically become a part of it.

If your store sells less than $10,000 annually, using Etsy Offsite Ads is optional.

However, if your store earns more than $10,000 annually, it will automatically become a part of the program.

How Much Does It Cost?

Etsy Offsite Ads have fixed costs. If your store earns less than $10,000, your fee per sale is 15%. However, if it makes over $10,000, you get a discount of 12% because you have to use the program.

So how does it all work? If someone clicks on Etsy's ad, anything they buy from you in the next 30 days will cost you 12% to 15% of your listing’s price.
