How GracefulwallsStudio rewrote its art titles for people buying a printable

GracefulwallsStudio
GracefulwallsStudio has sold printable Christian art and Bible study journals on Etsy since 2024, and now has more than 500 listings. It used Alura's listing optimizer to retitle its older art prints around what each one shows and the fact that it's a download, and Smart Pins to keep them on Pinterest.
A faith art studio where almost everything is a file
GracefulwallsStudio makes printable Christian art and study materials from the UK. The art runs from saint portraits and nativity scenes to scripture prints framed in William Morris style florals. Next to it sit Bible study journals hyperlinked for GoodNotes, Sunday school packs, Advent kits for families, and a 2027 liturgical calendar with feast days for England and Wales and for the USA.
Almost all of it is a file, not a parcel. Someone who buys a wall print gets a PDF linking to five JPEG files at 300 dpi, covering a long list of print sizes, so the art can go into whatever frame is already on the wall. The one exception is the Christmas ornaments, which are made to order by a print partner in the United States.
The older titles were written in a different style
A catalog this size grows in layers. The earliest art prints were titled in a different style from the newer journals. Many read as a run of occasions and gift ideas: communion, baptism, gift for her, home and church. Some ended with the studio's own catalog number, like B33 or A41, which is handy for finding the right file and means little to a shopper. The word that told a shopper it was a download sometimes sat at the end of a long run of phrases, and sometimes wasn't in the title at all.
For a printable shop, that last part matters. Someone searching for Psalm 55:22 wall art could be after a framed print in the post or a file to print tonight. The title is the first place they find out which one this is.
“With a printable, the title has two jobs. Say what the art is, and say it's a file you print at home. The gift ideas can go in the description.”
The AI writes the opening, the shop keeps the rest
The shop works through its older art listings one at a time in Alura's listing optimizer. In a listing's editor, the optimization settings are ticked for title, description, tags and photo alt text, and Start optimization drafts all four at once. Nothing reaches Etsy until Publish changes is clicked, and the listing history can restore an earlier version if a draft doesn't fit.
The new titles follow a pattern: the subject first, then the verse or the style, then the words that tell a shopper it's a digital download. The description gets a new opening paragraph that describes the artwork in plain terms, like bread, a chalice and a crucifix in a still life, or green vines and deep blue flowers around a verse. Below that, the shop's own text carries on as before: what the buyer receives, the five JPEG files, the size chart and the printing tips. The catalog number is gone from the title but still sits in the description, where the studio can use it.
Pinterest runs from the same listings
The second job is Pinterest. Smart Pins fills a queue with pins made from the shop's active listings, ranked mostly by how many Etsy views each listing gets, so the prints shoppers already open most tend to go out first. Pin New Listings picks up listings after they go live, which suits a shop that adds seasonal journals ahead of Advent and Lent.
Both automations write the pin titles and descriptions with AI, use tall 2:3 images, and post to a board called Jesus. Some pins are also made by hand in Alura's Create tab, such as the ones for the Advent devotional and the Names of Jesus coloring book.
Titles that name the print and the format
The older art prints now read like the examples below. The before titles were written to cover every occasion a print might suit. The new ones name the subject, keep the verse reference where there is one, and say the listing is digital. The tags were redrafted in the same pass, so the Psalm 55:22 print now carries phrases like "psalm 55 22 print" and "cast your cares" next to "william morris art".
The pins follow the same plain style. Smart Pins has sent out "Good Shepherd Jesus & Lamb Wall Art Printable" and "Nativity Sampler Printable for Christmas Faith Wall Art", and the pins made by hand include "Names of Jesus Coloring Book with Floral Designs & Bible Verses".

Name the verse, and say it's a file
Put the verse reference in the title the way people write it, book, chapter and verse. Keep your own catalog codes, but give them a home in the description or the SKU field, where they help you and stay out of a shopper's way. And if the listing is a download, say so in the title and again at the top of the description, so nobody orders expecting something in the post.
“Most people buying scripture art have one verse in mind, and it's often for someone else. If they can't see that verse in the title, they keep scrolling.”
