## Running RankKW and Alura side by side

You can keep both. RankKW's shop connection is read-only, so it never clashes with the edits Alura publishes. Keyword lists leave RankKW as CSV on Pro and up. Daily shop snapshots and monitored competitors stay behind. [2, 5, 7, 8]

### Is the RankKW Chrome extension free?

Yes, for Chrome, Edge and Brave, though it needs a free rankkw.com account. On October 15, 2026 the Chrome Web Store showed 4,000 users and 4.9 stars from 462 ratings. The free Alura extension showed 100,000 users and 4.7 stars from 439 ratings the same day. [1, 10, 13]

### Is RankKW free?

Yes. The Free plan has no card and no end date: 5 keyword searches and 5 listing audits a day, one shop with 50 listings and one AI listing image a month. Paid plans start at $0.99 for 20 searches a day. Alura Free also has no end date, with 5 keyword and 5 product searches a day and 10 listings to optimize. [2]

### Where does RankKW's search volume come from?

From Google. RankKW's methodology and keyword pages say volume, CPC and the country split come from Google Ads Keyword Planner, because Etsy's API publishes no search volume. Alura shows its own estimate of Etsy searches next to Google volume. Neither tool gets search counts from Etsy. [4, 5]

### Can RankKW publish listings to my Etsy shop?

No. Its privacy policy says it connects to Etsy with read-only permissions, and the Etsy Listing Pro page tells you to review the draft and paste it into Etsy. Alura asks Etsy for edit access so it can publish the title, tag and description changes you approve. [6, 7]

Its public reviews are few, recent and positive. All 7 Trustpilot reviews, from September 24 to October 9, 2026, give 5 stars for a 4.3 TrustScore.
