### Is Craftybase now Stocksmith?

Yes. Craftybase announced the name Stocksmith in June 2026, effective 1 July. The announcement calls it a rebrand only, with the same software, team and data. The old craftybase.com address now redirects to stocksmith.io, and only the name, website and card descriptor changed. [4]

### How much does Stocksmith cost?

Stocksmith starts with Pro at $24 a month, or $20 billed yearly ($240), for 25 order line items a month on one channel. Studio costs $49, Indie $99, Business $199 and Growth $349 a month. Your average order volume decides the plan. [2, 3]

### Is Stocksmith free?

No. Every plan includes a 14-day free trial with no card required, but there is no free plan. Its free extras are browser calculators and spreadsheet templates. Alura has a Free plan with no time limit that includes its Etsy profit calculator. [3, 13]

### Is there a free alternative to Stocksmith?

For costing, a spreadsheet is the usual free option; Stocksmith's own guide says free tools hold up until reconciling them takes longer than the work. If you need profit, not costing, Alura's free profit calculator handles single products, and Growth adds a profit dashboard. [14]
